Not to knock the anime (the first series, directed by kenichi Kasai, was quite good), but the live action is so much better, which is due primarily to its leads. They were perfectly cast for the characters, and I just can't accept anyone else, really.
...which everyone has said already. So let me just add my fangirl sequel I emit every time I see Tamaki Hiroshi in a tux!
