Talking about censorship? Why am I suddenly skeptical?

The name is a bit funny but somewhat ironic. But to be fair, Japan censor some of our stuff (and some of them were ridiculous). Are you familiar with Fallout 3 censorship, I heard many Japanese were not happy with this. Japan has also censored other game too:

Call of Duty: Black Ops (censored for gore, but yet Japan produced some of the goriest movie and anime. Also the Nazi swastika is removed in the Japanese version, which is another thing that baffle me)

Mafia 2 (they censored all the "jugs" in the playboy magazine for the Japanese version, which is strange because Japan made a lot of content like this but they have to censor this)

and just recently,

Homefront (North Korea has been censored in the Japanese version, they now refer North Korean as "“A Certain Country to the North")

LOL.

Butcher's a good guy actually. He's the manager of the Toronto comic book store The Beguiling, and most Torontonians on this board will tell you that the people in that store are the "smartest" comic book guys in the city. He knows his manga. He even has a blog, many of the recent posts detailed his trip to Japan last year.

http://comics212.net/

Every year he has these sort of manga/comic book seminar talks at the comics arts fest in Toronto. They're pretty standard comic book seminar stuff, in that they range from interesting to boring within the span of 5 minutes, but these seminars (usually there can be a up to a dozen of them at the fest, hosted by different people) are guys who definitely know what they're talking about at least.
