Am I the only one who thinks Keldeo looks like one of those ponies from MLP in this movie?

That is indeed Vic as the voice of Keldeo.. he tweeted last month that he had a major roll in the upcoming Pokemon movie, but didn't say what, now its clearly obvious he is indeed Keldeo

What's wrong with Vic? He does an excellent job as Edward Elric.

They've been casting a lot of well-known anime voice actors in Pokemon, such as Cristina Vee, Vic Mignogna, Leah Clark, J Michael Tatum, and Carrie Savage. I hope the trend continues! Very Happy

Romi Park was leagues better.

Also he doesn't really suit Keldeo at all... sounds way too nasally/whiney in this trailer.

Keldeo was programmed into Black and White, which were released in Japan in September 2010. MLP:FiM first aired in America a couple of months after. It's entirely coincidental.

Also, Vic Mignogna does not make a good Keldeo. I just hope Christopher R Sabat plays Terrakion.

I won't be avoiding the movie, but closed captioning and the mute button will be my friend.

I don't like the guy, and I avoid everything of his I can.

I think Vic is a pretty good VA, but whatever. I'll watch. I wasn't crazy about the last film, so I hope this is an improvement.

Can't blame 'em, Vic's a magnet for drama Laughing Can't forget this is also a not-4Kids-but-still-is-edited-and-poorly-voiced-act-like-one dub too so it would be bad even without him.

Romi Park was leagues better.

Also he doesn't really suit Keldeo at all... sounds way too nasally/whiney in this trailer.

Yeah, Romi Paku...who sounds the same in everything else she voices anyway, much like every other American Voice actor. Rolling Eyes

Japanese =/= Automatically better.

Eeentirely subjective. Personally I think they both were wonderful Eds.

BUT, Im not gonna lie, his voice as Keldeo caught me offguard and I laughed a bit. You can't judge an entire role by one line though - many times that's happened and people flipped out about their favorite character being runined, only to hear the voice in context and find that the voice was fine. Lets net be hipsters until after we all watch the movie, ok? Wink

Then you're missing out on a very good FMA: Brotherhood dub.

Travis as Roy was epic, so much emotion in the later episodes.
