I am very excited to hear news about the "second" anime season of Monogatari. I truly hope it begins airing by the end of 2013 or start of 2014. 2013 is beginning to look like a great year for Monogatari.

What I'm reading is, we'll finally get Kizumonogatari in Fall 2013 or later, while Zenmonogatari gets delayed indefinitely.

It means seasons as in the novels, not the shows. So it's the next collection of novels that are being animated. Think of it like Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Marvel films being created. |

Zen is not (or not yet) announced for "fall or later"! The photo in the news is actually describing the timeline in the series, not saying when it will air. Here's the full photo of that section (found it on 2ch):
You can see it listed as: First series - Kizumonogatari (Spring vacation) - Nekomonogatari Kuro (Golden week) - Bakemonogatari (Spring to Summer) - Nisemonogatari (Summer vacation) Second series - Neko White, etc. (Fall and later) |

I like ANN a lot, but messing up this story is inexcusable. I thought you had people who knew Japanese who could corroborate stories such as this one. I am not trying to be nasty to your staff Zac Bertschy, but I expect a high standard from a professional site like Anime News Network.
