Well, that sounds pretty good for me. As I wanted a DSi XL. But with the 3DS making a larger model now I'm stumped. But the good thing is, I think is that DSi still plays import DS games whereas the 3DS doesn't. $99 is a steal considering how much it was at launch. But somehow I feel like this system just kind of came a went.

I'm pretty sure the 3DS still has no region lockout for non-DSi enhanced DS games.

They can continue doing this because when it left the RESELLER's hands originally, it left Nintendo's ownership. Therefore, GameStop can sell a system at whatever price they want after it had been SOLD back to them. Nintendo can't say anything as the item is now being sold under retail and not resell and there is no breach in the reselling contract (the bonus being that GameStop makes ALL the profit back from selling refurbished systems; Nintendo makes none). It's sort of fun, from a business perspective. |
