I was gonna comment on how cheap $36 is for a DVD released in Japan, but then I realized it only has 1 episode on it. It's a good idea, though. They could sell the bilingual script separately so people who already have the show can benefit.

Interesting. I'd love this for some of my favorite shows.

Now that is something i can take on. though i kinda expected Pokemon would have been used since it have a more broader audience. and to be frank i think the newbies would be turned off from Animax Asia's half baked english dubs . would have been better if tiger and bunny have been released in the US and they use the english translation from a US company.

jr0904 Why do you think they'll use the Animax Asia dub and not the Viz dub?

Awesome. Tiger and Bunny has had the best US English dub in over 5 years, due to its high quality voice actors and great script. I hope the Japanese will see that too. No, I know they will see it.

Except that's not the best way to learn the language considering the English dub often changes the meaning of the original around to match the lip flaps.

But who knows, I never saw the dub version of Tiger and Bunny so it could be close to the subbed counterpart. -shrug-

Number 1, accuracy of dubs have nothing to do with language learning. It's the fact that it's in English which is gonna help the person. 2. Most modern dubs change the wording, not the meaning. There's a big difference. 3. This is a VIz dub. All Viz dubs are accurate-literal translations of the Japanese versions.
