OK, that's kinda cool to see. Nice way to attract the foreign fans, wish they had these stores in the US (and around the world).

Make yourself one if you're so desperate.

Still don't see the hype of Vocaloid characters. A little shop in the airport? That's a start but it just seems odd regardless of my opinion on the franchise's fans.

I guess it was bound to happen for Hatsune Miku or the Vocaloid to have their own shop. Also I think it's just me but a couple of items, like the shirts, seems to be a bit over priced. :/

It's Japan, what do you expect?? A lot of thing in Japan are ridiculously overpriced (and expensive). I know CDs in Japan can cost over 40 US dollars, and it just mind-boggling. A lot of thing in Japan are not cheap I can tell you that.

I could say the same thing about that great used bookstore in the Milwaukee airport, if it's still there. Sad

So you haven't been through an international airport then? Everything's expensive even in "Duty Free" which is a joke when I can purchase nearly anything in a duty free zone, cheaply outside including tax. I 'd love that wheeley carry on though. I'll get one next time I'm flying out of Hanada. Laughing

Everything, including food, is expensive in the airport. Think it is great that they have it at the airport. Not everyone can get to Akihabara, but many pass through the airport.

Also, airport shops aren't particularly BIG--and how much merchandise is there anyway?--so a here-today storefront for one of the hot trending topics for Japanese travelers and Western tourists isn't really that big of a deal--
Walk through Orlando, FL's airport, there's no shortage of quick Disney/Universal/Sea World stores in the main lobby.

(And yeah, I wanna shop there, too. I don't need cellphone cases or cosplay black socks, but it's Miku, darnit.)
