This is why you never have oral agreements, or unsigned contracts. Signed contracts work to keep people honest, most of the time.

So is this going to impact the release date at all?

I'm looking forward to this movie, it looks promising and seems like it can outdo the 1998 movie.

The studio filed for an injunction specifically declaring the movie could go ahead as planned. I'm not sure if it was granted.

Don't think they are going to delay the movie. Doing that would be bad for both sides, especially since they want money from the profits.
