Fantastic news, it's a fab series that thoroughly deserves it's success. I'm happy to see not just this but any light novel series do well internationally though even if I may not like said series.

While I'm glad to see we're seen to be contributing to overall sales for a release, I'm surprised though to see Great Britain included - usually we're not counted due to the majority of our releases[with some few exceptions, such as the Gollancz release of case closed] being imports from America.

It's nice that the series is selling well, but, frankly, I'm more interested in Accel World.

As far as I know, SAO and the Index franchise are the best-selling LN series.

I'm pretty sure Slayers has about 20 million in sales.

I'm not too surprised by this outcome with SAO being as popular as it is. I remember that the Index LNs have over 15 million copies in print as of mid-2014. A bit sad that Index isn't Dengeki's #1 anymore but it was going to happen sooner or later.

I think it is more like "outsold." SAO can probably top it depending on how long it keeps going.

I wanted to say Index had more than that, but I guess I was remembering wrong.
