Ah, suddenly a reason to go to Anime Expo... was going to skip this year since Comic Con is the week after...

I was going to ask, "Wasn't he at Anime Expo before?" as Arc System Works prefers to be at Anime Expo over E3, but the article DOES mention he has been to AX before.

If I remember correctly though, 2014's AX had Arc System Works but not Ishiwatari. It'll be interesting to check this one out--I haven't played any of his games except BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, but I do like his sense of art design and his music is catchy, and the Guilty Gear following is interesting to me from a sociological standpoint.

Just consider my soul an open wound and this news a shaker full of salt.

Seriously though, everyone who's going: See this man. He is a genius and Guilty Gear does not get anywhere near enough credit.

And now the list begins to take shape...probably a good idea to post a separate article about the Spice and Wolf author attending AX via Sekai Project...these next couple of months should be exciting

I got to see him in 2009. He and Toshimichi Mori actually did 2 days of autographs because so many people wanted to meet them. I remember because I was in line on the first day, was told they ran out of time, and was given a voucher to come back the next day. I came back and sure enough I got to meet them and got their signatures, so mad props to them. Unfortunately I'll be travelling this year, so no Anime Expo for me.
