Where are people getting this from? The guy's around 25! He's kind of goofy! He's not "mature" in any way whatsoever!
Ishida Akira's character is more of a lead (no wonder he's depicted in the middle). But from what I've seen and heard so far everyone's acting is really good. |

This is true, but compared to the surfeit of teenage high-school characters in anime these days, he's practically ancient! I'm intrigued by this show, and one of the things that really has me interested is that it is about grown-ups and not high school kids. Admittedly there have been many shows featuring high school kids which I've enjoyed, but variety is the spice of life, and shows with grown-up characters doing grown-up things are a welcome change, and as a grown-up person I approve. |
