serious soul searching for downloading illicent and lewd material, how shameful. I hope people who do the same feel sorry for themselves, seek redemption, and apologize to themselves. Hopefully he did delete the file as well.

Horrible. Just horrible. How can he even to think that he's going to get away with some apology. His career is obviously over now.

I don't know whether I should take this as Shiraishi just being a goofball as usual and playing up the situation for laughs or if he's actually completely serious about this.
Given Japan's strict anti piracy laws I wouldn't be surprised if he thought he had something seriously bad. |

I don't get how you could do soul-searching for downloading doujinshi of a porn artist. I kind of picture this being an issue for his Lucky Star character.

Well it's quite telling when someone who's well known and with (I assume) a stable income still can't be bothered to pay for doujinshi. Plus this comes close after a big doujinshi event in Comiket and Shiraishi making news recently as well when he revealed his condition. |

I still recall the ridiculous videos of him singing in Lucky*Star. I enjoyed his Lucky Channel routines with Konno Hiromi as much as Lucky*Star itself.

I love how it says that he was "trying to use" them just like that, quotes and all. I wonder what he was trying to "use" them for. Possibly one of the world's greatest mysteries.

This is a non-issue, nobody would've cared too much elsewhere, probably the worst he'd get was someone saying he had bad taste in doujinshi.
