Crunchyroll Streams Live-Action Show Is There a Vet in the House?

Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it will stream the live-action Japanese drama series Is There a Vet in the House? (Jūei-San, Jiken Desu yo). The series will premiere on July 4 at 2:00 p.m. EDT for premium members and one week later for free members. The stream will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and South America.

Crunchyroll describes the series:

Is There a Vet in the House? follows the story of veterinarian Shiba Kentaro who runs the Shiba Veterinary Clinic in Tokyo. Kentaro is earnest and kind and frequently falls in love with female pet owners and can't help but meddle in his clients' affairs.

The cast of Is There a Vet in the House? includes Takanori Jinnai as Kentaro, Miyu Yoshimoto as Kenatro's adopted daughter Hinako, and Kentaro's mother- Nurse Hanae, played by Yoko Nogiwa. Is There a Vet in the House? is written by Mitsuru Tanabe, who also wrote other live-action series such as Henshin (2014) and Dinner (2013).
