Tsuburaya Posts Mysterious 'Ultraman_n/a' English Video

Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd. began streaming a region-locked "ULTRAMAN_n/a" video on Friday with no description.

The live-action and CG video features a normal afternoon in Tokyo's Shibuya ward (complete with shots of the famous crossing and Hachiko statue), when suddenly a kaijū bursts out from underneath the crossing. A CG-rendered first-generation Ultraman appears, and fights with the monster. The video features English text on the screen, stating "In a time of destruction / He returns / The ultimate battle begins." The video ends with the text "7.7".
Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd. founder Eiji Tsuburaya was born on July 7, 1901. Next year marks the 50th anniversary of the broadcast of the first Ultraman television series.
The latest Ultraman live-action tokusatsu television series, Ultraman X, premiered in Japan on July 14. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.
