Dragon Quest Builders Gets PS4/PS Vita Demo in Japan on January 22

Square Enix announced during its Dragon Quest 30th Anniversary Project Presentation on Wednesday that its Dragon Quest Builders: Alfegard o Fukatsu Se yo game will get a demo on January 22. The demo will be available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Square Enix did not announce a demo for the PlayStation 3. Save data from the demo will not carry over to the main game.
Square Enix will release the game on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita on January 28.
The game is set in Alfegard, the setting of the original Dragon Quest game. It follows an alternate ending of the game where the hero accepts the Dragon Lord's offer to rule half the world. The player takes control of a new hero to rebuild the land.
Sony will release a special edition PlayStation 4 console with a Dragon Quest Builders: Alfegard o Fukatsu Se Yo design on the bay cover. The release will coincide with the game's January 28 release date.
