Hakuōki: Otogisōshi TV Anime Premieres on April 5

The official website for the Hakuōki: Otogisōshi TV anime revealed on Friday that the series will premiere on April 5.
The series will premiere on Tokyo MX at 9:55 p.m. and on Mie TV at 11:10 p.m. The show will air on Tuesdays in the same time slots. The show will also air on Sun TV starting in April.
The series of anime shorts will feature the characters from the Hakuōki games in chibi form, and will feature a completely new story with the theme "A normal every day that might have existed."
The story of the game franchise and its anime adaptations center around the historical Shinsengumi samurai group in Kyoto during the 19th century.
