Cyber Danganronpa VR Launches for PlayStation 4

Spike Chunsoft released Cyber Danganronpa VR Gakkyū Saiban (Class Trial) for PlayStation 4 on Thursday to coincide with the release of the PlayStation VR headset. Users with a Japanese PlayStation Plus account can download the demo in Japanese and users with a Hong Kong PlayStation Plus account can download the demo in English, Chinese, and Japanese. The demo is free.
In the virtual reality demo, players take part in a class trial similar to those in the original Danganronpa games. Players use "truth bullets" to counter arguments from their classmates. Sony previously included the software at demonstration events for the PlayStation VR.
NIS America released the first and second Danganronpa games on PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe in 2014 under the names Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. It also released the spinoff game Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls (Zettai Zetsubō Shōjo Danganronpa: Another Episode, or Absolute Despair Girl Danganronpa: Another Episode), and plans to release Danganronpa 1 • 2 Reload for PlayStation 4 next year.
Spike Chunsoft will release New Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shin Gakki (New Danganronpa V3: Everyone's New Semester of Killing) for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on January 12.
