Pokémon GO Adds Alolan Forms of Kanto Pokémon

The official website for the Pokémon GO smartphone game announced on Monday that it is adding Alolan forms of Kanto region Pokémon "in the coming weeks."
The Alolan forms first appeared in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. These Pokémon include Rattata, Sandshrew, Vulpix, Diglett, Meowth, Geodude, Grimer, and their respective evolutions, as well as Exeggutor, Marowak, and Raichu.
The Pokémon GO app launched in select countries including the United States in July 2016.
