Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2022 Hosts Cosplay Competition

The staff of The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival announced on its Instagram account on Tuesday that it will host a cosplay competition for its 2022 event. The event will take place from November 24 through November 26.
Medha Srivastava, Sameer Bundela, and Garry Syiem will judge the competition. Medha Srivastava has won cosplay competitions at Comic Con India 2019 and Comic Con India 2020, ESL One Mumbai 2019, Dream Hack 2018 Mumbai, and The International9. Garry Syiem represented India at Pop Culture Hiroshima 2020.
The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2022 will host over 20 musical acts and have events such as Korean and Japanese Food Contests.
The winner of the Pop Culture Hiroshima 2020 Cosplay Competition Abyssal Scar will curate the event.
Abyssal Scar also curated the cosplay competition at the The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2021. Korean pop band PIXY also performed at the event.
