Dramatical Murder's Shiroba

posted on by Bamboo Dong

Character: Aoba Seragaki (Shiroba version)
Series/Movie: DRAMAtical Murder
Cosplayer: Shiki
Photographer: Shutter Crazy Photos (Facebook)

We asked photographer LEANNE, "What's your camera setup of choice?"

"I just started shooting with a Canon EOS 70D this year, and it's not disappointing me in the least. My lenses of choice currently are my new 17-55mm f2.8 lens, and a 18-135 f3.5-5.6 kit lens. I'm still a beginner when it comes to using my external flash, and tend to shoot without assistance for now so larger set ups are difficult for me. I actually am only able to shoot in Manual, all of the auto modes bug me in one way or another. Everyone tells me to shoot in 'Aperture Priority' or 'Program' modes, but I don't feel those give me enough control of the image. "

About the photo shoot:
"Shiki, best known for her cosplays of Levi, shot with me at Denver Comic Con. This shoot took lots of hands on help to make everything lay right, but I think all the hard work paid off. As a photographer, this shoot challenged me as I got to learn how many shades of white there were during post processing. I always enjoy working with Shiki, she knows her angles and isn't afraid to jump off tall objects or roll around on a dirty bus station floor for a good photo!"
