in the scene in Nodoka's room where she's talking about how a spell in the book might be the one for the Red String, in one scene you can see a plushie that looks like Tama-Chan from Love Hina, one of Ken Akamatsu's other works

At the end of the OAV, Chizuru is holding a fan that has an image of Kotarou Inugami, a dog demon who eventually rooms with her, Natsumi, anda Ayaka in the Negima manga.

While Sayo Aisaka and Kazumi Asakura are taking a bath, and then later after Chachamaru challenges Zazie to ping pong, Shichimi and Motsu from Negima!? make cameo appearances (despite the OAVs not being set in the 2nd series canon)

After Negi and Nodoka run away from Haruna in the bath, a badly drawn Setsuna made by Setsuna's VA cameos in the background knocking away random things.
