Web-Based Gundam Browser Wars Game Launches This Month

Bandai Namco Online has announced on Friday that it will launch a web-based social game called Gundam Browser Wars in Japan in the middle of this month. Since it runs on Yahoo! Mobile Game Open Platform, the game will require no extra software to download or install, except for Adobe Flash Player on recent versions of Microsoft Windows or Mac OS X with Japanese support. Bandai Namco Online also maintains that the game will be simple to operate with just a mouse.
The game is set in the world of the first Mobile Suit Gundam television anime series. The players can choose to become mobile suit pilots of either the Earth Federation or the space-colony-based Zeon Forces. The players can then interact with other pilots on the same side, improve their abilities and mobile suits, and then fight enemy units. Players can also choose from over 200 different mobile suits and later upgrade their units with items.
