Loveplus Party to Be Streamed on Nico Nico Thursday

The Nico Nico Douga website will stream the "Loveplus Christmas Event: Merry +mas 2010" live on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Japan Time (5 a.m. EST). (Nico Nico Douga requires its users to fill a registration form in Japanese, but there are normally no geographical restrictions on which users can watch its live streaming videos.) "Doors" open for this Christmas party based on Konami's virtual girlfriend simulator at 6:00 p.m. Japan Time.
The scheduled "performers" for the event include the software's three heroines: Manaka Takane, Rinko Kobayakawa, and Nene Anegasaki. The three-dimensional guests include the producer Akari Uchida, the game director Akihiro Ishihara, designer Tarō Mino, and the host Icchō Mori.
To commemorate the event, the Roppongi branch of the Dixies family restaurant will open for only three hours before the event. (The event is being held at the Tokyo Midtown complex in the city's Roppongi district, and Dixies is the fictional restaurant where the game's player and Nene work.) The pop-up restaurant will serve food courtesy of Starbucks and Pizza Hut, and there will also be a display of some of the "Loveplus x pixiv x Kodansha Girlfriend's Memories Illustration Contest" entries.
Participating JOYSOUND karaoke places in Japan will also simulcast the event, and Nico Nico subscribers can watch a recording at a later time.
