Browser game Puchitto Rock Shooter's trailer also online

The official YouTube account for Japanese game developer JRPG posted the second of two promotional videos for the PSP videogame Black Rock Shooter on Sunday. The role-playing game, which features animation by the anime studio ufotable, is inspired by the "Black Rock Shooter" song by the musical group Supercell. The song initially used the virtual idol Hatsune Miku as its singer, and it inspired a separate anime project from director Yutaka Yamamoto.

The game will ship in Japan this summer with Maaya Sakamoto in the dual roles of the title character and White Rock Shooter. A limited edition White Premium Box will bundle a figma figure of White Rock Shooter.

Another game based on Black Rock Shooter titled Puchitto Rock Shooter (Petite Rock Shooter) is also scheduled for a March 9 release on Japanese video site Nico Nico Douga. The site hosts a trailer movie for the browser role-playing game. Ryota Takeuchi (El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron) provides the narration.
