Final Fantasy Concert Tour Makes 1st Stop at NYC

April-November 2011 tour also heads to Sydney, Atlanta, Chicago, London
The Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy world concert tour will perform at New York City's BAM Howard Gilman Opera House on April 1 and 2. The New York City stop will kick off a seven-month tour that will also head to Sydney, Atlanta, Chicago, and London.
The two-hour concert is the ninth of its kind since 2002. Grammy award-winner Arnie Roth will conduct the music of celebrated video game composer Nobuo Uematsu, while screens play synchronized images from Square Enix's Final Fantasy videogame series.
The official website and Facebook page has more information about the tour. After the New York City concert, Uematsu and Roth will appear at a meet-and-greet event which people can attend as part of a special ticket package.
