Touhou Project's Zun Reveals 13th Official Game

Touhou Project creator ZUN announced on Monday that the next official game in the franchise — Touhou Shinreibyou ~Ten Desires — is currently in production. ZUN will make a demo available March 13 during Hakurei Jinja Reitaisai 8, a Touhou-centric convention in Tokyo.
ZUN develops the official Touhou Project games under the name Team Shanghai Alice. Aside from its large female cast and synth-heavy music, the games traditionally distinguish themselves among other arcade, vertical shooters by creating a curtain of life-ending projectiles that gets denser and more complex in higher difficulties. ZUN also has relatively flexible guidelines for fan materials based on his works, although he revised the guidelines for commercial goods and anime last month.
Characters Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, and Sanae Kochiya return as playable characters from the previous game Undefined Fantastic Object. Youmu Konpaku also makes her return as a playable character after appearing in the ninth game, Phantasmagoria of Flower View.
