Daily Video: Hori's Hatsune Miku Controller Tested

The Japanese game company Sega posted a video on Wednesday to demonstrate Hori's planned specialized controller for the upcoming PlayStation 3 (PS3) title Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- Dreamy Theater 2nd.
The controller measures about 690 milimeters (27 inches) long and weights 6.0 kilograms (13 pounds). It features eight light-up buttons that can be removed and swapped anywhere on the controller panel. Sega also test drives the controller's usability on other PS3 games such as its 3D fighting game Virtua Fighter 5.
Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- Dreamy Theater 2nd will be a downloadable title that will output the PSP title Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd in high definition for home theaters.
Hori, the Japanese game accessory maker, is accepting pre-orders for the product until 6:00 p.m. on April 11. If there are enough orders, the controller will sell for 28,514 yen or about US$340 this summer. The pre-order deadline was extended from the original date of March 25.
