Japan's pixiv Art Site Starts English Encyclopedia

This week, the Japanese art site pixiv.net launched an official English-language Twitter account and an English-language encyclopedia, which explains some of the characters and memes that often appear on the site. The encyclopedia is user-edited, allowing English-speaking browsers of the pixiv site to contribute. The entries also feature artwork from the site's users.

The encyclopedia features an English-language version of the Japanese version's tool ranking, whose top ten results are as follows:

3. IllustStudio
4. Mechanical Pencils
5. Pixia
6. Pencil
7. ComicStudio
8. Colored Pencil
9. The Tegaki Blog website
10. AzPainter2

The list includes 72 entries; the ComiPo! manga-creation software is #49 on the list.
