Evangelion Summer Kimono Offered in Japan

The online store for the Evangelion anime franchise will begin offering official Evangelion yukata (summer kimono) in collaboration with the designer RumiRock on June 23.
The yukata come in two pattern styles: Akai Umi (Red Sea) and EVA 3-Tai (3 EVA Units, pictured right). By design, the yukata patterns are not immediately recognizable as Evangelion patterns at first glance.
The 100% cotton yukata are available in three sizes — ladies' M, men's M, and men's L — for 29,400 yen (about US$366). In addition to the official online Evangelion Store, Tokyo's Shinjuku Marui One department store and the online retailer Kimono Switch will offer the yukata.
The Evangelion Store also offers six styles of themed hand towels for 2,100 yen (US$26). Shinjuku Marui One will offer an "Evangelion with Endless Summer Girls" campaign line of women's items and apparel between July 8 and July 28.
