Berserk's Miura Draws Gackt/Gackpoid CD Cover

Kentarō Miura, the creator of the manga Berserk, illustrated a cover for Japanese musician Gackt's 39th single CD. Miura's art is featured on the limited-edition first-pressing cover for the single titled "Episode.0." The two songs on the single were created in a contest, judged by Gackt, using "Gackpoid" software that provides a synthesized Vocaloid version of Gackt's voice. Miura also drew the cover artwork for that software package.
The "Episode.0" single was released on Wednesday, and Gackt appeared on a live streaming program on the Nico Nico Douga service on July 15 to promote the new CD. During that appearance, a personal message from Miura to Gackt was read. The message revealed an apparent friendship between the two artists.
