Capcom Drops Mega Man Legends 3/Rockman Dash 3 Project

The Japanese game developer CAPCOM announced on Tuesday that it is cancelling development on its Rockman Dash 3 (Mega Man Legends 3) project for the Nintendo 3DS console.
CAPCOM thanked its fans for their interest and noted that one of its aims for the title was to involve users in its development process from the beginning of the project. CAPCOM added that it received important feedback as a result of opinions expressed by users. However, it decided to cancel development as the project was not meeting its goals.
CAPCOM will not distribute the paid prologue/prototype version of the project, and it will also stop updating the Dash 3 Kaihatsu-Shitsu (Legends 3 Development Room) website on August 19 at 12:00 p.m. in Japan (August 18 at 11:00 p.m. EDT).
