Akagi, Jewelpet Tinkle Hugging Pillow Covers Offered in Japan

The Japanese retail website Amazon is currently taking pre-orders for a hugging pillow (dakimakura) cover featuring the character Akagi Shigeru from the Tohai Densetu Akagi -Yamini Maiorita Tensai- television anime series. The pillow cover retails for 9,450 yen (about US$120) and will be released on September 23.
Madhouse Studios and Yūzō Satō's Tohai Densetu Akagi -Yamini Maiorita Tensai- mahjong anime series ran from 2005-2006.
The website for MOVIC, the parent company of Animate, is currently taking pre-orders for hugging pillow covers featuring the characters Akari Sakura, Miria, and Sara from the Jewelpet Tinkle magical girl anime series. Each pillow cover retails for 9,240 yen (about US$118) and they will be released this fall.
Studio Comet's Jewelpet Tinkle, a spinoff of the original Jewelpet anime series, ran from 2010-2011.
