Making a Living in Manga in Japan with Felipe Smith
Lost in Translation
Naoto Hirooka, or h. Naoto, will attend the event to promote his first U.S. store, which will open at New People's Fashion Floor on October 7. J-Pop Summit will host a h. Naoto mini "pop-up" store, a fashion show of his newest collection, and a screening of his Tokyo Collection followed by a Q&A.
h. Naoto is seeking assistance from volunteer make-up artists and models to participate in his fashion show. Those interested should send photos of their best work examples to h.naoto (at newpeopleSF.com). Models should e-mail their full name, age, phone number, and height along with photos of their face and full body shots. Those selected will receive further details about the job, which is not compensated, on August 15.
Those who want to meet the designer can pledge support to the Summit and receive an invite to a VIP party.
