Magical Girl Magazine to Debut in September

The AmiAmi merchandising store is listing a magazine from the Japanese publisher Yosensha titled Bessatsu Otona Anime Mahō Shōjo Magazine (Otona Anime Spinoff: Magical Girl Magazine). The spinoff from the existing Otona Anime magazine is described as an in-depth look into the magical girl anime genre from the current hit Puella Magi Madoka Magica (pictured at right) to the classic Fairy Princess Minky Momo (pictured at far right).
The magazine will include interviews with the following people, all of whom have worked on magical girl anime series:
- Aoi Yūki
- Sakura Tange and Junko Iwao
- Halko Momoi
- Kunihiko Yuyama
- Morio Asaka
- Junichi Satō
- Minoru Ohno
The magazine, which will ship on September 14 for 1,200 yen (about US$15), will include a Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Fairy Princess Minky Momo poster.
