Bakuman's Fictional Shonen Jack Mag Recreated as Cushion

The Japanese character goods maker Banpresto will offer a cushion in the shape of the fictional "Weekly Shonen Jack" magazine from the Bakuman. anime in early October. The Bakuman. Big Cushion will be the "A Prize" in the upcoming Bakuman. wave in Banpresto's Ichiban Kuji lottery line. People who want the cushion must buy 500-yen (about US$6) tickets and hope they win it among the other prizes in the Ichiban Kuji line.

In the original Bakuman. manga by Death Note creators Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, a junior high school student named Moritaka Mashiro strives to become a manga creator like those in the real-life Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. In the anime adaptation, the magazine is renamed Weekly Shonen Jack.

The other items include a two-figure Chibi-Kyun Character set (B Prize), two kinds of drinking glasses (C), four sets of clear files (D), Chibi-Kyun Character A Part (three kinds, E), and Chibi-Kyun Character B Part (three kinds, F).

Manga Blasters plans to issue the first DVD release from the two anime seasons in North America this November, and Viz Media publishes the manga.
