Designs from Noriyuki Kayama's Android School of Flowers manga posted
ASCII Media Works' Weekly ASCII computer magazine is running Noriyuki Kayama's Hana no Android Gakuen (Android School of Flowers), an irregularly serialized manga that turns various Android phones into schoolgirls. Weekly ASCII posted Kayama's character designs on Saturday:
Soni Eri-chan: One of the five students brought in by Google-sensei. Born in United Kingdom with a Japanese father and a Swedish mother. She has been living on her own from her parents, but she plans to move back with her Japanese father.
Moto Rola-chan: One of the five students brought in by Google-sensei. Born in America. She is actually married to Google.
H.T. C-chan: One of the five students brought in by Google-sensei. Born in Taiwan. As the first to enroll in Android School, she became the first model student in the school.
Sam Sung-chan: One of the five students brought in by Google-sensei. Born in Korea. She was chosen as the second model student after H.T. C-chan. She's been quite spirited recently, and even more assertive with the announcement of the Galaxy Nexus. However, she is in the middle of a brawl with Apple-kun from the neighboring school.
Elle G-chan (LG): One of the five students brought in by Google-sensei. Born in Korea. She sometimes carries a Prada bag around. She likes F1 racing.
Sharp-chan: Born in Japan. She is not one of the five students brought in by Google-sensei, but she has been seen in high regard by the teacher recently.
Tōru Fuji-chan (Fujitsu): Born in Japan. She gets good grades and is liked by everyone, but she is a quiet, clumsy girl.
Kashio Nko-chan (NEC Casio): Born in Japan. Very beauty-conscious and loves fashionable brands.
Apple-kun: A student who goes to a school near Android School. Born in America. Lost his natural father in October of 2011.
The designs can be viewed in full resolution on Weekly ASCII's website. Weekly ASCII also posted the first three manga installments, the fourth manga installment, and an Android phone wallpaper with characters from Hana no Android Gakuen and Kayama's other Weekly ASCII manga (Denpa na Yatsura).

Are there any series that have actual satisfying endings? Jerome looks into it.― Timoshī Kurachitto asks: "What anime series really do deliver satisfying endings? Can you name me any?" Endings are difficult in anime storytelling. Many of the biggest series are adaptations of serialized manga, where editors don't like hit series to ever end. Sometimes the mangaka takes a hiatus mid-run and never ret...

If I could just figure out the message behind all of the fires, I feel like I’d be a step closer to solving the mystery, and that’s either a brilliant use of a red (hot) herring or a carefully seeded clue.― How do the puzzle pieces fit together? Persona 3 Reload's bones are nearly 20 years old, but it easily competes with or beats many modern titles for sheer depth, beauty, and fun.― I have agonized over the review of Persona 3 Reload like almost no other video game piece I have written, and as such, this review comes quite a ways after its release on the Switch 2. And why is that, you might ask? It's simple, really - what the heck do you s...
