Hatsune Miku Snow Sculpture Rebuilt After Collapse

posted on by Egan Loo
Snow Miku carved into snow wall instead of built as a freestanding statue

The Twitter user "Rūsuke" posted a photograph of the rebuilt Hatsune Miku snow sculpture after its completion before daybreak Saturday, as scheduled. It took nine hours to finish the new "Snow Miku" sculpture after the first sculpture collapsed earlier this week.

The rebuilt sculpture was moved to a new location. Similar to a Snow Miku sculpture made in 2011, only the front facade of the character was carved into a snow wall, instead of the freestanding statue that had collapsed.
