Sega holds commemorative campaign for PSP musical rhythm game featuring virtual idol

Japanese game developer Sega announced on their Sega Feat. Hatsune Miku Project website that they have shipped over one million units domestically of the Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- musical rhythm game for the PSP. To celebrate the milestone, Sega has announced that they will be distributing commemorative pins to 390 randomly chosen users who fill out a survey on their website. All participants in the survey will also receive an original commemorative PC wallpaper image. The survey runs from April 12 to April 27, and is open to anyone who has played a Project Diva game in the past.

Earlier this week, Sega announced the upcoming "Next Hatsune Miku Project Diva" series, with titles slated for Playstation Vita and Playstation 3. Sega plans to release the PlayStation Vita version of the game this summer, while the PlayStation 3 edition is slated to ship in 2013.
