Dengeki Bunko's Kazuma Miki: Something else planned besides Yashichiro Takahashi's new volume

Kazuma Miki, editor of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko imprint, revealed on Saturday that author Yashichiro Takahashi is working on one more volume of Shakugan no Shana. Miki added that "something else" is being planned, so the staff has not quite reached "the finish line yet."

Miki was attending the wrap party for Shakugan no Shana III (Final), the third Shakugan no Shana television anime series which adapted the final volumes of the main Shakugan no Shana light novel series. The main storyline of the light novel series ended with the 22nd volume last September, and Shakugan no Shana III (Final) just finished its broadcast run in Japan last month.

Miki had revealed on Good Smile Company's Japanese blog in January that more is being planned for Dengeki's Toaru Majutsu no Index/Toaru Kagaku no Railgun franchise besides the recently announced Index film.
