Teen detective loosens necktie, phantom thief offers embrace on US$130 sheets
On Wednesday, the ANIMATE store chain revealed the illustrations of Shinichi Kudō and Kaitō Kid that will adorn the upcoming Detective Conan bedsheets.
ANIMATE notes that the illustration of Shinichi — before he was shrunk to kid-size — will be in his school uniform "looking somewhat abashed as he loosens his necktie and holds out his left arm for you." Meanwhile, the Kaitō Kid version has the phantom thief "offering a gentle embrace like a gentleman, as if to say 'come over here.'"
The polyester suede bedsheets will go on sale this summer for 10,500 yen (about US$130, tax included) each.
