Tales of Xillia 2's Announcement Trailer Streamed

The announcement trailer for Namco Bandai's Tales of Xillia 2 role-playing game ran during the live stream of the game's unveiling at the "Tales of Festival 2012" event in Yokohama.

The video previews the "choice" theme where players can make decisions using the R1 and L1 buttons to change the course of the game as well as R-LMBS (Cross Double Raid-Linear Motion Battle System). The main character uses a "gun/sword/hammer" fighting style that allows the players to "weapon-shift" between dual swords, dual guns, or a hammer nearly instantaneously.

The game, which is set one year after the ending of the first Tales of Xillia, will arrive this winter.
