Video celebrates 10th anniversary of Miyuki Okumura's puppy character

On Thursday, the character brand company Sanrio began streaming an animated short with song as part of the character Cinnamoroll's tenth anniversary celebration. In the eight-minute "Cinnamon's Parade" video, the white puppy takes a nap and falls into an abandoned amusement park where he meets the rabbit Chocolat.

The AYABIE band's bassist Intetsu composed the song, and MasatakaP produced the video. The Sanrio designer Miyuki Okumura created Cinnamoroll in 2002. Until August 31, Sanrio is also offering a downloadable version of the character for use with MikuMikuDance software.

Viz Media is releasing Yumi Tsukirino and Chisato Seki's Fluffy, Fluffy Cinnamoroll manga in North America.

Earlier this year, Sanrio posted several animated music videos as part of the collaborative project between its Wish me mell characters and Japanese pop singer Mai Kuraki.
