Tales of the World Smartphone Game's Promo Streamed

Tactics Union simulation RPG to feature Tales of characters in new world, story

On Wednesday, Namco Bandai Games began streaming a promotional video for its upcoming Tales of the World: Tactics Union game for Android devices. The simulation role-playing game will launch for au brand smartphones in Japan on July 2.

Tactics Union will be the first smartphone game in the Tales of franchise's Tales of the World spinoff series. The most recent title in the series, the Tales of the World: DiceAdventure browser game, launched for personal computers on April 26.

In the upcoming game, an all-new story will take place in a new world. Characters from previous Tales of releases will battle against and team up with each other. The game will utilize smartphone touchscreens and feature new character illustrations for chat mode. A simple gameplay style will also allow people unfamiliar with smartphones or simulation games to also enjoy Tactics Union.
