Level-5 delays game to October 18 to improve game quality

Japanese video game developer Level-5 began streaming a trailer for the Danbōru Senki W (Little Battlers eXperience W) role-playing game on Wednesday. The trailer features anime cutscene and gameplay footage, as well as Little Blue Box's theme song "Legend."

The video also reveals that the game has been delayed from September 27 to October 18. Level-5 has noted that the game is being delayed so the company can improve and enrich the quality of the game even further and provide players with a better game experience.

Along with a new anime, Level-5 is developing the "plastic model craft role-playing game" as a full sequel to the original Danbōru Senki (Little Battlers eXperience) PSP game that shipped in Japan last year. The player controls tiny battle robots called LBX (Little Battler eXperience) as they battle it out in dioramas built from reinforced cardboard. ("Danbōru Senki" literally means "cardboard warriors.") The new game will feature combining robots.

Level-5 will release both the PlayStation Portable and the PlayStation Vita versions of the game for 4,980 yen (about US$63), or 4,480 yen (US$56) via download.
