Interest Team Ninja Reveals Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Port for PS Vita

Original Ninja Gaiden gets smartphone port on Thursday
Team Ninja revealed at its "Team Ninja Night 2012" event in Tokyo on Wednesday that it will be releasing a port of the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 video game for the PlayStation Vita handheld console titled Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 2. The company will release the game in early 2013.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 was itself an enhanced port of the original Ninja Gaiden II action-adventure video game, and was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2009. Ninja Gaiden II was released for the Xbox 360 in 2008.
Team Ninja previously released Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus as a launch title for the PlayStation Vita system when the console was released in North America in February.
Additionally, the original Ninja Gaiden video game will receive a smartphone port on September 20 titled 100 Bannin no Ninja Gaiden. More details about the game will be revealed at Tokyo Game Show.
