Pokémon Spawns Official Pokédex on iOS in Japan

App starts with Pokémon: Black & White Pokémon, with more add-ons available
The Pokémon Company announced on Thursday that it is releasing an official Pokédex app in Japan for iOS devices on Friday. The Pokédex for iOS app will cost 170 yen (about US$2.10). The app uses 3D models similar to those in Pokédex 3D for Nintendo 3DS with information in six languages.
The app starts with information on Pokémon from Pokémon: Black & White. Customers can then purchase additional packs for 500 yen each (US$6.20). Available add-ons include Pokémon from the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh regions.
