5pb. adapts Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse novel that also inspired TV anime
The game developer 5pb. began streaming the promotional video for its Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles on Wednesday.
The adventure game adapts the Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse novel, which is itself a spinoff of the 2006 visual novel software Muv-Luv Alternative from the adult game company Age. This side story follows the test pilots and mechanics in the United Nations Forces' Tactical Surface Fighter Testing Unit in Alaska.
The game will ship on May 16 after a delay. The game retails for 7,140 yen (about US$80).
