Nitro+ Mascot Super Sonico's 1/2-Scale Statue Previewed in Color

Nitroplus illustrator Santa Tsuji (Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi) posted the first photographs of the painted 1/2-scale figure of the Nitroplus mascot Super Sonico on Monday. A-TOYS is making the figure for an estimated cost of 39,800 yen (about US$400), although that is subject to change. Tsuji himself is supervising the figure's creation.

Super Sonico has inspired a variety of products, including interactive software, hugging pillows, music singles, and a crossover with Saints Row: The Third. Nitroplus will release the adult PC game Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi. ("The Love Between You, Her, and Her," with "Her" alternately translated as "Girlfriend") with Tsuji's designs on June 28.
