Jack Tretton: Team ICO game has 'certainly not gone away'

Sony Computer Entertainment of America President and CEO Jack Tretton told Gametrailers on Tuesday that Team ICO and Fumito Ueda's The Last Guardian PlayStation 3 role-playing game "has certainly not gone away, but it's on hiatus right now."

The game had been listed on the website for E3, but a Sony Entertainment Europe representative had asserted at the time that the listing was "not true" and it "looks like pure speculation."

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida stated in February that he is not ready to discuss the title and is "waiting for the right time to reintroduce The Last Guardian." Ueda also noted in February that even though he left Sony Computer Entertainment in 2011 to pursue his own creative passions, that he still has creative supervision over the game.
