Gust Reveals Chronos Materia RPG For September

Aspiring alchemist girl & others transported to world with no civilization or humans

ASCII Media Works' Dengeki PlayStation magazine will announce on Thursday that Tecmo KOEI's Gust game developing team will release Chronos Materia, its newest role-playing game for the PlayStation Vita. The game will have the theme of “time,” and will arrive in Japan on September 26.

The game revolves around a girl named Iris and others who are transported into a world with no humans or civilization. The Eternity Looping System allows players to alter their destinies by letting them jump to and replay certain parts of the game with ease.

The cast of the game includes Yūka Aisaka as Iris (a girl with little confidence who aspires to be an alchemist), Yoshiko Ikuta (Night Raid 1931) as Primula (a girl determined to complete her mission and act strong, but actually gets lonely), Yuka Watanabe (Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl) as Thyme (a boy who loves adventures and moving his body, but actually is quite the romanticist), and Toshi Fukamachi as Shion (a lax young man who is actually very composed and good at trades).

Gust's latest RPG, Atelier Escha & Logy, will ship for the PlayStation 3 on Thursday in Japan.

Update: The character illustrator is "Non," the artist better known as Nozomi Ousaka (Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai!). The characters' names are all plant names.
